Update Regarding SFU/UBC and Online Courses
There have been some important changes made by SFU and UBC regarding Online courses.
For SFU, in order for a student to use a distributed learning course in their admission average, it must be 100% completed by April 30. Courses completed after April 30 can be used to satisfy pre-requisites, but will not used in the admission average: https://www.sfu.ca/students/admission-requirements/cdn-highschool/bc_yukon.html For UBC, in order for a student to use a distributed learning course in their admission average, it must be 100% completed by February 1. If they need the course to meet pre-requisites but not be used in their admission average, it must be 100% completed by June 30: http://you.ubc.ca/admissions/canadian-highschools/bc-yukon/ (scroll down to the near the bottom of the page).
